This is my bowl choice project. It is a wide bowl with smooth outer edges. It's got a green paint design on it. During this project I learned how to pull out the walls better. An art element that was illustrated in this bowl is space. The inside is wise and has deep rims. A design element in this project is movement. I feel that the green paint designs somewhat shows a green ooze moving over the bowl. The smooth green design reminds me of an alien that is glowing and green and is snail like.
This is my 1st Wheel Bowl project. It is about 2 inches tall with a wide base. While making this bowl I learned the skill of carving the center of the bowl to create depth. An art element I incorporated in this project is space. The bowl has a lot of space on the inside of it which would make it great for holding a good amount of things. A design element I added was pattern. While painting, on the inside I have drops of paint that flowed down from the edges of the bowl which made a nice pattern that is appealing to the eye.
This is my 2nd Wheel Bowl project. It is about 3 inches tall and is covered entirely with a matte paint job. While making this project I learned how to pull the project up. The Art element of this bowl is the texture. It doesn't feel completely smooth which makes it cool. It's a little rough but not in a way that isn't appealing. The Design element of this project is the balance. It is evenly centered and is symmetrical with the lines I added to the inside of the bowl.
